Scientists have discovered a one-dimensional discrepancy. That is, research has shown that the actions men take to make themselves attractive affect their ability to conceive a child.
It has been revealed that the drugs and pills that men take to reduce their beautiful bodies or hair loss can affect their manhood.
It is named the Mosman-talking paradox, based on the name of the scientists involved in the research.
Researchers say that this can lead to various relationship problems, making it difficult to conceive.
“I have seen many of the men who come to the hospital to test their manhood find themselves physically interested,” says James Mossman, a doctor at Brown University in the United States.
Men who think they're attractive are taking pills to make them infertile. "
It has been found that the main reason for this is to increase the growth of muscles by stimulating hormones by taking drugs to get fit.
Such stimulants are often used by bodybuilders.
“The appearance of men who often go to gyms to attract women is attractive, and, paradoxically, their masculinity is affected,” says Alan Pace, another researcher at the University of Sheffield.
Anabolic steroids make the brain's pituitary gland think that the test results are going to be fantastic.
Thus stimulants deceive the pituitary gland, stopping the activity of two hormones, FSH and LH, which play a major role in sperm production.
Researchers have found that men taking pills to prevent baldness have a similar problem.
A type of drug called Fostrostate stops the secretion of the hormone testosterone. Due to this, the hair loss is reduced. However, it can also reduce the risk of erectile dysfunction and infertility.
“People who use anabolic steroids are 90 percent more likely to become infertile,” Allen adds.
