Folate is a nutrient that aids in the creation of protein and blood in the developing body of a baby. It also aids in the prevention of congenital neurological diseases. Spinach, orange juice, lentils, peas, and beans all contain it. To avoid congenital neurological problems, the newborn should get 200 mg of folate within the first 12 weeks of life.
